【摘要】:Theguide,asnowconstituted,isnotsuitableforrankingofdetergentproductssincenobasisisavailableatthistimeforcorrelationofthedetergencyperformanceofanyparticularsoiledclothorclotheswithdetergencyofnaturallysoiledarticles.AsuggestedprocedureforcomparingtheperformanceofanytwolaundrydetergentsonnaturallysoiledfamilyitemsinhomelaundryequipmentundercontrolledconditionsonapairedcomparisonbasisisdescribedinMethodD2960.1.1Thisisaguideformeasuringtheabilityofdetergentstoremoveartificiallyappliedsoilsfromfabrics.Itisintendedasalaboratoryscreeningtesttoaidintheformulationofdetergentproducts,forqualitycontrolandasabasisbetweenthepurchaserandsellerinstandardizingspecificproducts''performance.1.2Therelativerankingofdetergentproductswillvarygreatlydependingonthetypeofsoiledfabricsusedinthetest.Therefore,selectionofthestandardsoiledfabrictobeusedinatestshallbemadebyagreementbetweentheinterestedpartiesonthebasisofexperience.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
