【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverthefollowingtypesoftransformers:a)Air-cooledtransformersandreactorsforgeneraluse;b)Generalpurposeautotransformers;c)Ferroresonanttransformers;d)Class2andClass3transformers(whichareevaluatedinaccordancewithPart3);e)Cord-connectedtransformers(whichareevaluatedinaccordancewithPart2);f)Transformersincorporatingovercurrentorover-temperatureprotectivedevices,transientvoltagesurgeprotectors,orcapacitors;andg)Permanently-connectedtransformers.ThesetransformersareintendedtobeusedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70,orCSAC22.1,theCanadianElectricalCode,PartI.TheCanadianElectricalCodedefineslowvoltageasanyvoltagefrom31to750Vinclusiveandhighvoltageasanyvoltageabove750V.TheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70,defineslowvoltageasanyvoltageupto600V,nominal.Therefore,lowvoltagetransformersintendedforuseinCanadamayberatedabove600Vupto750V.LowvoltagetransformersintendedforuseintheUnitedStatesareratedupto600V.Whereinformationinclausesandtablesinthisstandardreferencevoltageranges,thelimitof600VappliesintheUnitedStates,whilethelimitof750VappliesinCanada.Thestandarddoesnotcoverthefollowingtransformers:a)Directplug-intypes;b)Neon;c)Liquid-immersed;d)Variablevoltage(Variac);e)Lowvoltagelandscape;f)Swimmingpoolandspa:g)Ignition;h)Highintensitylighting;i)Toy;j)Fluorescentlamptypes;k)Transformersforwelders;l)Distribution;m)TransformersintendedforuseintheUnitedStateswithanominalprimaryratingofmorethan600V;n)Transformersincorporatingrectifyingorwaveshapingcircuitry;o)Transformersforusewithradio-andtelevision-typeappliances;p)TransformersintendedforuseintheUnitedStateshavingovervoltagetapsratedover660V;q)Autotransformersusedinindustrialcontrolequipment,whichareevaluatedinaccordancewiththerequirementsoftheStandardforIndustrialControlEquipment,UL508,orCSAC22.2No.14,IndustrialControlEquipment;andr)Otherspecialtypesoftransformerscoveredinrequirementsforotherelectricaldevicesorappliances.Part1,aswellasPart2andPart3,establishthecharacteristics,construction,operatingconditions,markings,andtestconditionsforeachtypeoftransformer.Therequirementsinthisstandardmaybemodifiedbyrequirementsinanendproductstandardifatransformerisintendedforuseonlyasacomponentinotherequipment.
