【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletofixedgasdetectionsystemsforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammableortoxic1)gasesorvapoursoroxygen.ThisEuropeanStandardsupplementstherequirementsoftheEuropeanStandardsforelectricalapparatusforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammablegases,vapours(e.g.EN61779orEN50241),toxicgases(e.g.EN45544)oroxygen(e.g.EN50104).NOTE1TheseEuropeanStandardswillbementionedinthetextas"metrologicalstandards".NOTE2TheexamplesaboveshowthestateofthestandardisationforindustrialapplicationsatthetimeofpublishingthisEuropeanStandard.Theremaybeothermetrologicalstandardscoveringotherapplicationfields,forwhichthisstandardisalsoapplicable.NOTE3ForfixedapparatususedforsafetyapplicationswithaSILrequirementupto1andforportableapparatustheEuropeanStandardEN50271maybeappliedinsteadofthisEuropeanStandard.Applyingtheabovementionedmetrologicalstandardswillensurethemeasuringperformanceisadequateinnormaloperationofagasdetectionsystem.AdditionallytherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardaddressthefunctionalsafetyofgasdetectionsystemsandencompasscriteriaforreliability,faulttoleranceandavoidanceofsystematicfaults.ThisEuropeanStandardwillleadtothecharacterisationofthegasdetectionsystembyaSIL-capabilityandrelatedhardwarefailureraterepresentingahierarchicalorderofsafetylevels.ThiswillallowtheusertoincorporatethegasdetectionsystemintoanoverallsafetysystemaccordingtothesafetyintegritylevelsofEN61508orthecategoriesofENISO13849-1(seeAnnexB).ThisEuropeanStandardisaproductstandardwhichisbasedonEN61508andincludesadditionalrequirementsofENISO13849-1.Itcoverspartofthephase9?realisation?oftheoverallsafetylifecycledefinedinEN61508-1.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicableforgasdetectionsystems,whichmayconsistofthefollowingfunctionalunits:?gas-sampling;?sensor;?signaltransmission;?inputtocontrolunit;?signalprocessingincontrolunit;?outputfromcontrolunit.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsfortheinstallationandmaintenanceofgasdetectionsystems.Italsodoesnotspecifythephysicalpositioningofsensors..ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifywhichSIL-capabilityissufficientforwhichapplication.NOTE4TheSIL-capabilityrequiredforanapplicationwillbespecifiedbytheuser(seeAnnexesAandB).
