【摘要】:A1.2.1Thesetestsandrequirementsareusedtoevaluateloadingandoperatingprocedures;verifytheaccuracyofproportioningandindicatingsystems;anddetermineifmixinguniformityhasbeendegradedbyexcessivewearorbyaccumulationsofhardenedconcrete,orboth(NoteA1.1).NoteA1.18212;Themethodofloadingthebatching-mixingunit,propermaintenance,andotherfactorsmayhaveaneffectontheabilityoftheunittoproduceuniformlymixedconcrete.Forthisreason,theuseofthistestmethodnotonlymeasurestheefficiencyofthemixer,butalsothecombinedeffectofthemethodofloadingandoperatingtheunit.A1.2.2Thisannexprovidesadditionalproceduresandcautionsthatarenecessaryintheapplicationofexistingtestmethodsandpracticeswhenusedtodeterminetheuniformityoffreshlymixedconcrete.1.1Thisspecificationcoversconcretemadefrommaterialscontinuouslybatchedbyvolume,mixedinacontinuousmixer,anddeliveredtothepurchaserinafreshlymixedandunhardenedstateashereinafterspecified.Requirementsforqualityofconcreteshallbeeitherashereinafterspecifiedorasspecifiedbythepurchaser.Whentherequirementsofthepurchaserdifferfromthisspecification,thepurchaser''sspecificationshallgovern.Thisspecificationdoesnotcovertheplacement,consolidation,finishing,curing,orprotectionoftheconcreteafterdeliverytothepurchaser.Testsandcriteriaforbatchingaccuracyandmixingefficiencyarespecifiedherein.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunits,showninbrackets,orinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warningx2014;Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongeduse.)A1.1.1ThisannexincludestestproceduresanduniformityrequirementsforuseintheevaluationofconcreteproducedinconformancewithSpecificationC685/C685Mbyanindividualbatching-mixingunit,loadedtoratedcapacity.
